Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC) Resource Centre's main objective is to assist in the overall vision and mission of KHRC. Its role is to select, acquire, organize, process, maintain and disseminate information materials mainly of human rights nature to support the work of KHRC staff and interns.

The Resource centre also serves visiting researchers, partner organizations, scholars and students of both local and international universities and colleges.

Our collection consists of material on human rights and covers a wide range of human rights issues both in print and electronic format. The major subjects areas on display are; Democracy and Governance, Law, The Constitution, Elections, Women Rights, Children Rights, Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, Corruption, Labour issues, Human Rights Education, Prisons and Torture, Land Rights, The Media, Ethnic and Politically instigated Violence and Community Policing.

The Resource Centre has migrated from a manual to a computerised system of operation to enable wider dissemination of human rights research information emanating from KHRC and other institutions and experts in the area of Human rights.

Monday to Friday

8:30 am to 1:00pm and 2:00pm to 5:00pm;

and remain closed over the weekends and public holiday.
